GET ON THE WAITLIST FOR ROCKSTAR CAMP

JOYCE'S ROCKSTAR CAMP STORY

WHERE DO YOU LIVE AND WHAT KIND OF WORK DO YOU DO?

I live in Philadelphia, Pa and I am a Certified Professional Coach.

WHAT PISSES YOU OFF?

Seeing others being taken advantage of.

WHAT DELIGHTS AND INSPIRES YOU?

Seeing others persevere and excel through difficult times.

WHAT WAS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE WHEN YOU SAID “YES” TO ROCKSTAR CAMP?

I often encourage others to take risk, to take a leap of faith, to live life on the edge and end up exactly where they are supposed to be. But what I neglected to do was to give myself that same permission. To live unapologetically! To show up great! To reek of inspiration and strength and not apologize for it. Megan Jo Wilson Rockstar Camp, a place where you can shine on purpose and not be quieted or hidden because your good. I thought if Megan Jo had the audacity to create a place where I could be free and live on the edge on purpose then this was the atmosphere, the safe haven, the place I needed to be.

HOW DID YOU FEEL BEFORE THE CONCERT?

Unhealthy, Bound, Unsure.

HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTER?

Intentional, Zesty, and Live Giving.

WHAT DID YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS OF YOURSELF FROM THE SHOW?

Freedom, Purpose, Joy

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST IMPACTFUL SHIFT FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE IN ROCKSTAR CAMP?

I am healthy, I am fierce on purpose, I have a message. I have began building my healing and fitness practice to help and inspire other women to heal from trauma, experience beauty, to embrace joy and to live alive!

WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO BE A PART OF THE 2-MONTH PROCESS THAT PREPARED YOU FOR THE CONCERT?

The two-month process helped begin to pull back layers, and get me and my sisters to the core of who we are and who we are meant to be. It was very healing, nurturing, and challenging.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE FOR YOU BEFORE GETTING ON STAGE TO SING?

Oh Snap! I really am crazy! Crazy bad ass, and crazy enough to believe in myself. I was also thinking that hey I finally found my people, my sisters, and my strength having them.

WHAT WAS THE EDGIEST OR MOST UNCOMFORTABLE PART OF THE EXPERIENCE FOR YOU?

Acknowledging that I have been limiting myself. Giving myself permission to feel sexy and beautiful.

WHAT WAS THE MOST FUN AND FULFILLING?

The whole experience was fulfilling, but for me there were two that stood out. 1. When I walked out on that stage and had the support of the band, my coach, and the audience cheering and giving me permission to act out. Where I live and worked being great on purpose makes you a target. 2. When I was given the challenge to pleasure myself at a local restaurant. 😊

WHAT WAS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE MOMENTS?

I wish I could send the picture of me at the restaurant, which I plan to come back and visit. Wine, Cheese tray, and me exploring my inner woman. It all came together, I had performed, I had explored and the day after I realized I was free and in love with myself. I felt lighter and beautiful and I loved it and embraced it.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THE WOMEN WHO ARE CONSIDERING ROCKSTAR CAMP?

Get ready to love you on another level, to experience inner beauty and the clearly see the beauty in others. Get ready to have your thoughts filtered with love and acceptance. You deserve it!
