SISTERHOOD + SOMATICS

Numb. Overwhelmed. Furious. Heartbroken.

Words can’t begin to capture the depth of what’s happening.

Still, I will do my best with these words as I invite you to a Somatic experience in Sisterhood. A chance to get out of our minds and into the body where we can begin to touch, shake, alchemize and be with all that we are holding.

This is a practice I have engaged with for many years in communities of Women. It is potent and accessible.

Why women only? 

To take advantage of the particular sacred energy that we are able to create in community for our individual and collective survival, this call is not open to Men. This gathering is for women, women-identifying individuals, and non-binary and gender non-conforming people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women.

We do this for all of us.

WHAT'S THE POINT? 

To be with your emotions through the body. To feel all it in a set container of time and space. 

To put away distractions and numbness and open some new energy. 

To feel viscerally that you are not alone. 

WHAT WILL WE DO? 

I will lead you through a guided experience of somatic emotional expression with music. 

You will move as much or as little as you desire. We will talk very little. 

We will close with a secular prayer for each other and our world.
